The Boot Fitting Process

Finding the right hoof boot is about more than matching measurements to a size chart. Every horse is unique, and my goal is to help you find a booting solution that keeps your horse comfortable while supporting the way you love to ride.

•The process begins with a brief phone call or email to discuss your horse, your riding goals, and any challenges you've been experiencing. Whenever possible, I prefer to conduct fittings in person and am happy to travel throughout the region to help horses and riders find the right fit. During your appointment, I'll carefully evaluate your horse's hooves and try a variety of boot options to determine which style and size offer the best combination of fit, comfort, and performance. I carry and fit Scoot Boots, Easy boot, and Flex Boots, allowing us to compare different designs and select the option that works best for your horse.

My Fit Guarantee

•I stand behind every boot I fit and sell. When you purchase boots through Bitterroot Hoof Boots, you'll have two weeks to put them to the test. Whether you're trail riding, conditioning, competing, or simply enjoying time with your horse, I believe real-world riding is the best way to determine whether a boot truly performs as it should.

Fine-Tuning the Fit

•One of the most important things to understand is that hoof boot fitting isn't always a one-time process. Just like saddles or riding boots, small adjustments are sometimes necessary before the perfect fit is achieved and that's completely normal. Different boot models, sizing adjustments, pads, gaiters, and other modifications can make a significant difference in both comfort and performance. I'm committed to helping you through that process. If adjustments are needed, we'll work together to fine-tune the fit until your horse is comfortable and your boots perform the way they're designed to.

My Goal

•My goal is simple: to help you and your horse find hoof boots that fit properly, stay secure, and give you the confidence to enjoy every ride.
